Taking care of your garments
Garments knitted with Biggan Design yarn can be safely washed in your washing machine. Set it on the wool or gentle cycle at 30ºC, and use a mild wool wash rather than standard laundry detergent. Never use bleach on your woollen garments.
Your garment may occasionally fluff (although rarely will it pill) if rubbed against a rough or abrasive surface. If this should occur, gently pinch the fluff off with your fingers.
When washed, your garment may stretch lengthwise due to the weight of the water held in the fibres. This is easily remedied by drying the garment flat, and gently shaping it to its original dimensions. Do not dry it in the tumble dryer.
Always wash your woollen garments before storing them in airtight containers.
